| Hi. My name is Christina Bell. I sing. I play piano. I write songs. I have been performing since I was 9. I’m 21 now. My favorite gig I’ve ever played is South by Southwest because A) I grew up in Austin, TX and B) SXSW is SO MUCH FUN. My second favorite gig I’ve ever played is the Key West Songwriter’s Festival because A) a lot of really nice and talented people play and B) Key West is beautiful and eccentric and unique. I’m a student at Belmont University in Nashville, TN. I am majoring in English, which people always think is peculiar because I am a musician attending a music school and thus should be majoring in music, but I enjoy reading about life and then writing about it. I released my first EP in January of 2010, titled “Underwater.” In a peculiar twist of fate, when Nashville flooded, my EPs really were “underwater” because my house flooded.
